ASSP Kuwait Chapter was founded in 2000 and is Kuwait’s premier voluntary, non-profit making Health, Safety and Environmental organization that strives to provide professional guidance, training, consultancy and resources to the industrial and social sectors in the region.
In pursuance to its lofty goals and objectives the society has been organizing international Conferences, Technical meets, Training programs and Outreach activities on its way to becoming one of the most active professional bodies in the Middle East.
ASSP is a group of HSE professionals who are deeply associated with the society’s activities on a voluntary basis to meet the objective of protecting people, property and the environment.
Keeping the local and global HSE challenges in view, ASSP Kuwait Chapter has been organizing many events. Already recognized as the busiest professional association of Kuwait in a very short period of time the Chapter has achieved a string of successes and looking forward to reaching greater heights in the years to come.
Kuwait Chapter (KC) of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP-KC) is ISO 9001 certified is the premier voluntary non profit making Health, Safety and Environment organization that strives to spread the message of HSE to the community and to provide professional guidance, training and resources to the industrial and social sectors in the State of Kuwait, GCC region.
As part of our goals, we have been conducting technical meets, Private Sector HSE Excellence Recognition Programs, training programs and international conferences since our inception.
CHAPTER OBJECTIVES
- To provide up-to-date information, knowledge, techniques and tools to the HSE professionals in Kuwait.
- To work with industries and help them to bring high consciousness and knowledge level in Health Safety & Environment.
- To create awareness among the general public on issues related to HSE aspects.
Its mission is to advance the technical, scientific, managerial and ethical knowledge of HSE professionals.
