More than 12 years of experience in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Food Safety and HSE Management.

Mageshwari Muthukumar graduated in Microbiology and subsequently completed a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene. She has more than 12 years of professional experience in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Food Safety and HSE Management across Oil & Gas and Food Industry sectors.

She started her professional career as Hygiene and Food Safety Officer and later progressed into Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene roles within major Oil & Gas projects in Kuwait. She is currently working as an Industrial Hygienist supporting Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) operations and contractor activities.

Her experience includes occupational exposure assessment, industrial hygiene monitoring, workplace health inspections, contractor audits, occupational health risk assessment, environmental monitoring and implementation of occupational health programs.

She has extensive experience in conducting Noise Surveys, Heat Stress Assessments, Indoor Air Quality Monitoring, Illumination Studies, Air Sampling, Chemical Exposure Monitoring, Ergonomic Assessments, Respiratory Protection Programs, Hearing Conservation Programs and Occupational Health Risk Assessments.

She has actively participated in Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) surveys, radiation monitoring activities, decontamination projects and confined space gas testing operations in compliance with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and Ministry of Health requirements.

Her responsibilities include conducting occupational health inspections at Gathering Centers, Water Handling Facilities, Laboratories, Drilling and Workover Rigs, participating in incident investigations, developing occupational health risk registers, reviewing contractor HSE documentation and conducting occupational health awareness campaigns.
She has participated in Third Party Audits, KPC Audits, ISO Certification Audits, Internal Audits and Occupational Health Compliance Assessments. She is also experienced in industrial hygiene equipment maintenance, calibration programs and validation of occupational hygiene monitoring methods.

In addition to Industrial Hygiene, she possesses more than five years of experience in Food Safety and HACCP Management including food hygiene inspections, catering facility audits, water quality monitoring, pest control management, food handler training and food safety compliance verification.
