1. Along with the application, for how many years’ HSE records are required to be submitted?
We require the statistics of three years, that is 2025, 2024 & 2023. However, all the evidence shall be from the year 2025.
2. Does our representative need to be personally present to clarify the queries?
This award evaluation is based on the evidence submitted along with the award application. If any clarifications are required, the representative will be called to clarify the queries.
3. Does this award have International Recognition?
ASSP GCC Excellence award is organized by the American Society of Safety Professionals, which is the oldest safety society in the world and is recognized internationally having chapters all around.
4. In how many award categories can an organization participate?
An organization can submit THREE AWARD APPLICATIONS ONLY if they have implemented the requirements mentioned in the respective Key Performance Questionnaire and if the evidence can be submitted.
5. How much should the organization pay as an Application Fee?
- Application fee for each award is USD 350 or KWD 100 (Kuwait Dinars).
- For applying in different award categories, the organization shall submit a separate award application with an additional application fee of USD 350 or KWD 100.
- All fees must accompany the application and are non-refundable.
6. How should the organization pay the Application Fee?

7. How should the organization submit its application?
Electronically through online or USB. (Hard copies are not accepted)
8. In the Service Sector, which types of Industries are falling in?
It can be catering, hotels, cleaning, hospitals, banks, warehousing, retailing, etc.
9. What do we mean by “Project/Contract Specific” category?
An organization applies for the HSE excellence award with data from a specific project or contract that it operates.
10. What do you mean by Facility & Maintenance?
Facility & Maintenance sectors are those organizations that work for the buildings of other facility maintenance, including civil, mechanical, Fire Protection, electrical, etc.
11. What is the difference between “Award Title” and “Award Category”?
The award title is the award given based on the evaluation of their respective key performance questionnaire, the category in which they are experts, and the submission of the data related to that.
12. Will the Award Evaluation Panel be requesting more evidence to clarify the submitted information?
Yes, only if required.
13. Will the Award Evaluation Panel be visiting our sites?
The visit will be based on the requirement; the evaluation committee reserves the right to make a visit if required.

Recognizing the organizations that have consecutively won the HSE Excellence Gold Award five times (including the current year). An additional fee is not required for this recognition.

Recognizing the best entry from Organizations participating for the first time. An additional fee is not required for this recognition.
17. What is the platinum award? Should I pay an additional application fee for this Recognition?
