Anand Jaiprakash Gupta

Anand Jaiprakash Gupta is a Safety Engineer with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and an HSE professional with more than 24 years of experience in occupational safety, project safety, process safety and fire protection systems across the oil and gas industry.

He has more than 10 years of experience in the upstream oil industry with Kuwait Oil Company and 14 years of experience in Refining and petrochemical operations with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), providing him with extensive exposure to HSE challenges across both upstream and downstream operations.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering and a Diploma in Safety Engineering and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He is also an ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.

His professional interests include human factors, process and occupational safety, risk management, safety leadership and organizational safety culture. He strongly advocates integrating human capabilities and limitations into engineering design, operational practices and HSE management systems to achieve sustainable improvements in organizational HSE performance.
