Ahmed Gamal Osman is a highly accomplished Drilling HSE professional, internationally recognized trainer, and safety management specialist with over 15 years of progressive experience across Egypt, the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and France. He holds the rare distinction of being the only safety professional in the Middle East to hold four simultaneous active certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP): Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Safety Management Professional (SMP), Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT), and Associate Safety Professional (ASP).

Currently serving as General Manager and Audit Team Leader at AGBSK Engineering & Drilling and Safety Services and concurrently as Field Safety Engineer at ADNOC in Abu Dhabi, Ahmed brings a rare combination of field-level operational expertise and strategic safety leadership. His career spans senior roles with Egyptian Chinese Drilling Company, Burgan Well Drilling in Kuwait, and ADNOC, covering diverse drilling environments including high H2S operations and new rig commissioning.

Ahmed is a Chartered Member of IOSH UK (CMIOSH), , and an IADC-Approved Instructor for Rig Pass, H2S, and Rig Equipment Inspection. He is also a certified DROPS Train-the-Trainer and an internationally certified NASP Safety Manager (CSM). As an active BCSP Mentor recognized on the BCSP Mentor Honor Roll for 2022 and participated in many BCSP events including GLS-2026 , Ahmed is deeply committed to advancing safety standards and professional development across the drilling industry in the Middle East and globally.

Ahmed has delivered hundreds of training programmes internationally, covering topics including ASP/CSP exam preparation, oil and gas safety, rig pass, incident investigation, and DROPS prevention. His research interests centre on risk-based safety leadership, SIMOPS risk management, workforce competency assurance, and cultural transformation in high-hazard drilling environments — topics on which he is presenting at PDC 2026.
