Ahmed Shaheen

Ahmed Shaheen is an HSSE executive and Founder of a Company, with more than 20 years of international leadership experience across energy, infrastructure, construction, renewable energy, power generation, and major capital projects in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

He has led enterprise HSSE governance, safety culture transformation, contractor assurance, learning and competency development, and digital transformation across complex, high-risk organisations and multi-billion-dollar projects. His work includes the design of integrated HSSE management systems, executive assurance frameworks, data-driven performance models, and AI-enabled approaches to organisational learning and decision support.

Through his company, Ahmed focuses on the intersection of human judgement, machine intelligence, governance, and safety-critical decision-making. His current work explores how intelligent systems are changing the nature of risk and why traditional control models must evolve to address failures originating within the decision layer.
