Fahad Alhajeri

Safety Engineer in Kuwait Oil Company since 2017 across major upstream projects including Jurassic Production Facility 5. I hold a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and an MSc awarded with distinction from University College London in 2025, for which I applied graph neural networks to predict CO2 capture performance in amine solvents. The work aimed at accelerating the design of safer, more sustainable capture chemistries. I was part of the Shell–KOC STAR program and briefly contributed to KOC’s early carbon capture initiative. My current focus is on applying machine learning to operational risk and process safety workflows, bridging data science methods with the practical realities of oil and gas operations.
