Haya Almayyan

“Haya Almayyan is a Petroleum Engineer with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Kuwait University . Currently, she is working at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), where she is specialize in reservoir management and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques. Over the course of her career, she has led multiple EOR projects, leveraging both gas and chemical processes to optimize hydrocarbon recovery.

Her expertise also extends to reserves management, ensuring the efficient evaluation and development of petroleum resources. With a strong foundation in advanced petroleum engineering concepts and a commitment to innovation, she contributes to maximizing reservoir performance and long-term energy sustainability. She contributed to the first comprehensive end-to-end CCUS study in Kuwait, focusing on CO2 capture, transportation, utilization, and storage. This pivotal project aligned with Kuwait’s ambitious goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and beyond.”
