Varghese Samuel is an accomplished Occupational Safety and Health professional, trainer, assessor, internal quality assurer, and consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the HSE and training industry. He holds MBA in Healthcare Management, Bsc Maths, Btech Mech. He also holds CMIOSH and CSP status, demonstrating his strong professional competence and commitment to maintaining high standards in occupational safety and health.
Throughout his career, Varghese has developed and delivered a wide range of internationally recognised and industry-specific training programmes, including IOSH, IADC, Highfield, oil and gas safety, drilling operations, lifting and rigging, confined-space entry and rescue, working at height, fire safety, first aid, and emergency-response training. He has successfully trained personnel ranging from frontline workers and supervisors to managers and senior leaders.
His experience also includes designing training materials, conducting written and practical competency assessments, developing assessment instruments, providing constructive learner feedback, carrying out internal quality assurance activities, and ensuring that assessment decisions are fair, consistent, valid, and compliant with awarding-body requirements.
In addition to training and assessment, Varghese has extensive experience in conducting HSE audits, workplace inspections, risk assessments, and management-system reviews. He provides consultancy support to organisations seeking international accreditation and compliance with standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
