Ved Prakash Mishra

Mr. Ved Prakash Mishra serves as a Specialist (Environment) within the Technical Support Group at Kuwait Oil Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

With over 25 years of experience in Environmental Management, including 20 years in the Oil and Gas sector, his expertise encompasses the implementation of HSE Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) in the upstream Oil and Gas industry. He is particularly interested in identifying and applying the best available environmental practices, such as Thermal Desorption for the treatment of oil-based cuttings, developing Clean Development Management Projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions during flaring. He also implements International Finance Corporation (IFC) standards and utilizes eco-burners for managing flaring and carbon trading initiatives.

Mr. Mishra has presented numerous technical papers at various conferences, including IADC Europe, IQPC Singapore, IPTC Malaysia, and ASSE Middle East chapters.
